I am soooo bad... really, really bad! I'm such a hopeless blogger. Please forgive me! I have even been 'told-off' and 'tutted' at by Kirsty Wiseman, a Goddess Scrapper. I bow my head in shame. I spend hours, yes hours, on the internet getting inspiration from all you wonderful crafters, and I can't even keep my own blog up-to-date! Pooh! All I can do now is try my very best to type a little something every now and then.... Yes, I'm going to drop the rather sinful title of 'Bad Blogger' and become 'Miss Blogger Extroadinaire!'.... Hmmm, keep your fingers (and toes) crossed!
Now, today has been a good day. So good in fact, that I'm even contemplating buying a couple of lottery tickets for Saturday's draw. Why a good day I hear you ask? Well, first of all, I won £2 on a scratch card, then I discovered that I am one of the winners on the Banana Frog May blog hop (blimey, try saying that when you're tiddly!). So yippee for me! I get to choose a set of Banana Frog stamps.... Wowser!!! Thank you Banana Frog. So, I'm sure you will be nodding your head in agreement when I say that today has been a good day.
A couple of weeks ago, I attended the fantastic Scrap-A-Mia retreat organised by Claire and Margaret at Creative Moments, in Yeovil. It was absolutely BRILLIANT... am trying to think of a better word than 'brilliant' but it's too late in the evening and my brain hurts. It really was 100% great. The line-up of teachers was amazing - Shimelle Laine, Kirsty Wiseman, Cleo Jarvis, Ifa Zainon, Jane Dean, and Claire herself. I learnt so many new tips and techniques, I've come back totally inspired, and can't wait for the summer holidays when I get a whole 6 weeks off school (being a teacher has its perks, you know! He he!). I am going to be scrapping, scrapping, and scrapping! I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone at Scrap-A-Mia for making my very first retreat totally wonderful.
